Next Chapter Support

Next Chapter Support offers clients up to four (4) individual clinical psychology sessions designed to help clients process the outcome of their assessment. This may include:

• Exploring self and neurodivergent identity

• Psychoeducation about neurodivergence

• Implementing targeted, genuinely helpful strategies to help make day-to-day life easier.

• Identifying broader support options you may be eligible for (e.g., NDIS)

• Family/ support person psychoeducation

These sessions provide a warm, neuroaffirming space to navigate what comes next, at your pace and in your own way.

Sessions are billed at $280/ 50 min. Medicare rebates will be available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year with a Mental Health Treatment Plan. The current rebate for a 50-minute session with a clinical psychologist is $141.85. Many private health insurance plans also cover psychological treatment, but this varies per provider, so best to check with them directly. 

In the interest of equity this fee has been set below the recommended fee of $315 suggested by AAPi (Australian Association of Psychologists Inc)'s 2024-2025 Schedule of Recommended Fees.
